In partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, the City of Renton is excited and grateful for this unique opportunity. The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will make a special appearance in Renton on Wednesday, November 6 as one of 12 stops on its 4,000-mile journey from Alaska to Washington, D.C.
Join Renton Mayor Armondo Pavone and others at the boat launch located at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park for free hot cocoa and holiday tunes before the tree arrives. The gathering starts at 4:30 p.m. and the tree arrives around 5 p.m. Residents can send messages of peace, hope and joy along to the Capitol! RSVP at rentonwa.gov/uscapitoltree.
