Meet Lea, the Owner and Executive Director of BLS, whose dance journey has been a lifelong odyssey of creativity and commitment. For 14 years, she has poured her heart and soul into cultivating a space where dancers of all ages can flourish. With a Minor in Dance from the University of Washington, Lea brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the studio. From classical ballet to the rhythms of hula and Salsa, she’s a master of her craft, igniting a love for dance in every student she meets.
But Lea’s story doesn’t end there – alongside her husband Jerome, the Co-Director of BLS, they form a dynamic duo dedicated to spreading the joy of movement. Jerome, a visionary in his own right, is the Founder of Body Rock Breaking and Co-Founder of Massive Monkees. As a certified Olympics judge, his expertise adds a unique flavor to BLS’s diverse offerings.
Together, Lea and Jerome balance a bustling family life with their two children, who share their parents’ passion for dance. It’s a testament to their unwavering dedication to their craft and their community.
