From its destination retail district to its historic hill, the Talbot/Valley neighborhood offers a little of everything and plenty for everyone.
The Valley neighborhood is home to the celebrated Evergreen City Ballet and Washington state’s only IKEA store, with its acres of sofas, Swedish meatballs and a whole lot more. The Talbot neighborhood, a coal mining community in the 1870s, is a mix of historic and modern suburbia complete with sweeping valley and sunset views. Saimin Says
This Hawaiian style takeout restaurant is new to Renton but no stranger to the Valley area. Their shop is small but mighty serving delicious musubi, saimin noodle soup and other island favorites. Wash it down with a can of POG and you’ll feel the Aloha spirit even on the rainiest Washington day.
