Boon Boona Coffee Roasters was a finalist in the Notable Roaster category for the international Sprudgie Awards. Boon Boona founder and CEO Efrem Fesaha sold African coffee beans across the West Coast before opening Boon Boona in downtown Renton three years ago. Through longstanding relationships, Boon Boona roasts select coffee beans from Africa and shares profits directly with the growers.

Burger Addict is where you’ll find award-winning chef Marcus Olson serving burgers made with locally sourced beef, house-made cheese and thick (yes, really thick) bacon. Marcus grew up in Snohomish County and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu-Western Culinary Institute in Portland. He won awards as a chef in London, Paris, New York City and Baltimore. Now he’s sharing his passion for the freshest and highest-quality ingredients from Burger Addict on Maple Valley Highway. Customers call it a hole-in-the-wall place you don’t want to miss.

Peyrassol Café at Southport introduces guests to fresh produce in European-inspired menus. Fresh is so important to chef and owner Sachia Tinsley, she’s a regular at the Renton Farmers Market. Chef Sachia’s efforts were recognized with the United Fresh 2021 Produce Excellence in Foodservice Award, in the casual and family dining restaurants category. The dinner menu at Peyrassol includes pasta, seafood, duck, salads and more. Staff will help you choose the perfect wine pairing or cocktail—the specialty of Chef Sachia’s husband, Scott Cory.

Puget Sound Cider Company uses Northwest-grown bittersharp, bittersweet and heirloom apples in its small-batch heritage ciders. Stop by the tasting room inside Antiques 4U in downtown Renton and sip while you shop! Puget Sound Cider’s beverages made a splash at the 2021 Portland International Cider Cup, bringing home awards for the Best New Cidery of the Year and the Best Small Cidery of the Year. Cider at the tasting room is offered by the glass, or get a bottle to take home. Also sold online.

Water’s Table offers a menu inspired by the farms and seafood legacies of the Pacific Northwest.
