Holi- The Renton Color Festival

Join Renton Parks and Recreation along with non-profit Voice of Planet at the Holi – Renton Color Festival. Open to all, come dance, sing, and throw colors on each other in celebration of oneness and spiritual and social harmony. Pre-Registration is required.

In India, Holi also known as Festival of Color announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind. Every nook and corner presents a colorful sight. Everyone alike is covered with colors (red, green, yellow, blue, black, and silver). People are seen singing, dancing, and throwing colors on each other.
